A microsite is a separate web page with its own domain that is associated with an existing
organization. The most popular kinds of microsites are advertisement campaigns from a
host company that focuses on a specific idea or product. Coca-Cola is notorious for their
use of microsites in their ad campaigns. An example is Coke's "What is Happiness?"
webpage which advertises the pursuit of happiness. This advertising technique correlates
Coke's products with its customers' happiness in hopes of showing them that Coke cares.
