Reference, or instructional, websites are search engines that are designed to help users find
information on the internet. Google, Bing and Wikipedia are popular examples of reference
websites. However, some search engines have more specific information in their databases.
For example, JSTOR is a reference website that provides scholarly papers and primary
sources for researchers and students.
